Frequently Asked Questions...

Are your products made in Australia?

Yes, every single jar of Mayver's is made locally in Victoria, Australia from nothing but pure, natural wholefood ingredients that have simply been crushed, blended and bottled.

Do you use any sugar, palm oil, fats or preservatives?

No, we never add palm oil, hardened fats, sugar, dairy, gluten or any other 'badditives' to our jars. All Mayver's products are made from 100% pure, wholefood ingredients that have simply been crushed, blended and bottled.

Why is there oil on top of the jar? Do you add oil in?

No, we don't add any oil, palm oil or hardened fats to any of our products. The oil you see on top of our jars is the natural "good" oils that are expelled from the nut or seed during the crushing process. A lot of other manufacturers add hardened fats (like palm oil) to stop the spread from separating which makes it easier to spread. The oil separating on the top of Mayver's jars is a sign that our products are 100% natural - being made from just pure wholefood ingredients that have been crushed, blended and bottled

Can other animals eat the dog peanut butter? Can my cat?

The short answer is yes, but not too much. Peanut butter is non-toxic to cats, but it also isn’t particularly beneficial either. Cats are obligate omnivores, so unlike a dog or human omnivore diet, cats’ bodies are not set up to digest much plant matter. Though peanut butter is not on the ASPCA list of toxic foods, it should only be given in small doses as a treat or a way to get your cat to take medication.

What can I use the Rovers Reward peanut butter for?

You can use the Rover's Reward peanut butter as -

- Reward treat

- Pop into a puppy/ dog play toy, such as a Kong

- Place onto a lick mat for some doggy fun

- Add onto a sticky lick mat on the bathroom wall for the dog to lick whilst you wash them

- Smother medicine in the dog peanut butter for the puppy/ dog to eat - they won't even notice the medicine!
